Isn’t life incredibly easy these days? You achieve your target, whoa! You have succeeded, its celebration time. And doesn’t matters if we fail, we have a bucket full of excuses. Some or the other excuse is always there for every possible situation to fit in perfectly and obviously we can cry and complain for things we don’t have! But does this really improve the quality of your life? Does this help you create a better version of yours? And the answer to this is a big NO!
If you really want to improve the quality of your life and improve yourself as a person you have to replace your habit of making excuses with the habit of making changes. Don’t mistake my words as changing yourself or your personality. What I mean to say is make little changes in your lifestyle. See, making changes will never add to your life. If you want to achieve something you have to work for it. It is as simple as that. Nothing in this life comes just like that!
I agree making changes is not easy, but believe me once you are determined enough and convince your mind and heart that you have to do it, you are already halfway there! All you need to do is take a step forward and then in some time you’ll automatically adapt the whole concept.
The first step towards making good changes is giving up the habit of making excuses. It’s funny that how we are sick of hearing excuses but we are never tired of making them!
The second step towards your target is to believe in yourself and believe that what you are doing is for your betterment and it will definitely add to your life.
The third step is to stop procrastinating things. Stop leaving the things for later. Once you have decided to do something, why not do it now. Why wait for tomorrow. Leaving things for tomorrow just erases your willpower and determination, nothing else.
And once you start on your mission make sure you continue that with the same level of intensity throughout. Leaving things incomplete will never help you achieve your aim.
Just remembered a quote by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, “Dreams are not those which comes while we are sleeping, but dreams are those when u don’t sleep before fulfilling them.”
So just try and observe in a day, that to how many situations you make excuses, where you actually need to make some serious changes and then work on them!
