Kings XI Punjab won by 18 runs
Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to field first. Kings XI Punjab got a good start by Murli Vijay and Virender Sehwag. Glen Maxwell and David Miller didn’t score the expected runs. For KXIP George Bailey proved to be the prominent player and scored 61* of 32 balls and lead the scoreboard to the total of 177 at the loss of 5 wickets. Harbhajan Singh and Lasith Malinga grabbed 2 wickets each.
Mumbai Indians couldn’t get a good start. All the leading batsmen showed a flop show. The side lacked the fighting spirit. Entry of Jagdeesha Suchith and Harbhajan Singh appeared to be the turning point of the match. It appeared like a rain of fours and sixes from the bats of both of the players, especially Bhajji’s.

Destructive Bhajji!!!
They managed to light up the joy for the MI fans. But, unfortunately they couldn’t take their team for the victory. But the game was a total delight for real cricket fans.

George Bailey – the Man of the Match
God knows what more will this season of IPL bring. The matches are being so very close and totally unpredictable. Keeping my eyes on tomorrow’s game i.e. RCB vs. SRH.
